Help SEED Maryland students succeed in college and beyond

The SEED School of Maryland is the only statewide, college-preparatory, public boarding school. Our mission is to present underserved students from across the state with an extraordinary opportunity to receive a tuition-free education that prepares them for success in college and beyond. Each day our students push themselves to excel academically and to achieve success on the athletic field, in both the fine and dramatic arts and in a myriad of clubs and activities. As part of the SEED MD experience, we challenge our students to expand their world views, understand the complex community in which we live and commit to growing as a person of character who is a credit to their family and school community.

How can you help?

With $2500, we can provide higher quality learning experiences for our students, enhance our curriculum offerings, increase their exposure to colleges and universities, and continue to build a boarding program that reinforces the skills taught during the academic day.

With $1000, we can offer students the technology and tools such as laptops and tablets that are necessary to actively participate and be successful in today's global society.

With $500, we can provide amenities in our dorms for our neediest students.

With $100, we can deliver transformative experiences through external opportunities, after school enrichment, and participation in sports and the arts.

With $50, we can motivate students with incentives and tools such as personal libraries, recreational equipment, and school gear to create a sense of pride in their school and owndership of their lives.

We are especially thankful for recurring monthly donations, which are the best way to give steady support. Contact Katie Byram at kbyram@seedschoolmd.org or 410-843-9477, ext 709 to learn more.
